Blue Stones - Lapis Lazuli & Sodalite

SODALITE is a mineral that is often mistaken for lapis lazuli, which is why I’ve put them together. It is one of a few minerals whose only use is as a gemestone. It gets its name from its high sodium content and exhibits grey, white and blue veins. It can be found in Russia, Germany, India, Canada and USA.

Now that you know if bit more about its physical properties, let me tell you about the energy it brings.  Sodalite is considered to have high vibrations and known as the stone of logic and intuition.  It is believed to help restore emotional balance and therefore, calming panic attacks.  

LAPIS LAZULI is an intense blue stone, often sprinkled with golden glints like stars. It is relatively rare.  It gets its name from the Arabic word “lazaward”, meaning “heaven” or “sky”.  

Now to the energy and spiritual characteristics of this heavenly stone!  Known as the stones of spiritual guidance, Lapis is known as “heaven on earth” and a stone with extremely high vibrations.   Known to encourage self-expression, fosters self-awareness, objectivity and clarity!  Yes, please!
