Moonstone - A Magical Stone

It’s hard to believe that this magical stone, Moonstone, is a natural gemstone.  When light enters between its thin layers it produces the phenomenon observed in called adularescence. This unique "shine" reminded the ancients of the shimmer of the moon and is the origin of the name.

What is the difference between moonstone and rainbow moonstone?  Not much! Rainbow moonstone is technically transparent labradorite. It is a close relative of white moonstone, a feldspar mineral with a sheen that displays in a variety of iridescent colors.

Now that you know a bit about Moonstone’s physical properties, let me tell you about the extremely high vibrations it brings. Moonstone is traditionally linked to the moon, fertility and feminine energy.  It helps stabilise emotions, reduce instability, prevent overreaction and soothe stress.  Spiritually, it strengthens your intuition.
